Introduction
Dbasr is a free, open-source content management system. It’s designed to allow musicians and other rich media artists to build, customize, manage and update their own website and web presence using simple tools. It’s similar to great CMS tools like WordPress, but Dbasr isn’t a blog engine (though it has blogging tools built in).

Features
Planned features for Dbasr’s 1.0 release include (but aren’t necessarily limited to):
- Simple blogging/news posting
- Event/gig posting
- Audio and video management
- Image and image gallery management
- Audio/video playlist management
- Discography management
- Fan and professional mailing list management
- Theming/customization of site appearance and layout
- Simple store for selling digital downloads and physical media like CDs
- RSS feeds for all content streams (new audio, news, events, etc.)
- Semantic linkage of data with media (for example, associating an audio recording with the show where it was recorded)
